Hello  and Welcome to Red River Music!  We have been in the music business for five years and we offer unique and hard-to-find items for sale.  If you are in the shopping mood, visit our "Online Store."  You may be surprised by what you find.  We also sell items in our E-Bay store "red river music company."

In addition to our online business, we are a certified Martin Guitar Repair Center.  We do Martin Guitar Warranty work as well as repair and restore vintage instruments.  We are working on our website, and hope to have pictures and descriptions of some of the projects we have worked on in the past as well as current projects we hope to finish soon.  To find out about our repair serices and review our work, visit our "Repair and Restoration" page.

We have our own recording studio and are constantly working on private recording projects as well as our own projects.  Our 24 track digital recording studio features both current state of the art digital technology and ultra-cool high quality vintage gear, including Ward Beck systems, DBX compressors/limiters, Yamaha equipment, Alesis HDR and Masterlink, and Rane equipment.  The studio boasts a great 1500 sq. ft live room for recording and video. It also has a space that can host as a live music venue.    Charlie White operates our recording studio, using his 20+ years of experience to give you the best quality possible. If you have any questions about our studio, or for booking information, visit our "Recording" page for more information.

Finally, we have a staff of practicing professionals that offer individual and group voice and instrument instruction.  We offer lessons for banjo, upright and electric bass, dobro, dulcimer, guitar, harmonica, mandolin, piano, steel guitar, ukulele, violin and voice.  If you live in the Central Arkansas area or are visiting the area, give us a call and schedule some instruction time.  We tailor our instruction to suit your needs with the purpose to make instruction both an informational as well as an enjoyable experience.  Visit our "Lessons" page for more information.

When a piano has not been tuned for some time, tuned incorrectly, subject to a few moves or exposed to significant climate changes, tuning can change severely from standard pitch.  Correcting these problems sometimes has to be done in steps (multiple visits), in order to prevent damage to soundboards, string breakage or other potential problems.  While we will take care to ease the tuning back to standard pitch, there is no guarantee that such damage will not happen during a pitch raise due to the stresses placed on the instrument not only due to the corrections, but also due to the situations that brought the piano to its current state (climate changes, multiple movings, etc.).  Additional charges for strings or other repairs may be necessary.  We will strive to do everything in our power to identify these potential problems on the front end.  If tuning requires that we make multiple visits, additional charges will be to cover mileage plus $15 labor.
